Today was the last day at Camp KSC, but there wasn't that much to talk about. Since I finished all my tasks for the whole week, my teacher let me help other people for an hour, and then she let me play on the computer, because I had nothing else to do. Then, we went to lunch. At lunch I didn't get to eat a main meal again, but my teacher gave me some ice cream and chocolate, because I was number one in points, so I wasn't that hungry after eating that plus chips and orange juice. After that the people that went to camp went to the Kennedy Space Centre for graduation. The robotics team, or the team I was in, went inside and went on the simulators. We also saw the Canadarm, but you pronounce it like Canada Arm. It was made by Canada and then it was donated to the United States. Canada had also made a Canadarm 2. The Canadarm itself is actually a robot. That was pretty much the only thing that we had done there. We had our graduation ceremony and they called my name and you shake your hands with you instructor of your team. Now, I will talk about some ideas that anybody can do with robots. One cool idea would be a voice activated car that is also a self driving car. That would be pretty cool, but it would be hard to design! Its hard to even design a normal car, let alone designing this complex car. Google had actually designed a self driving car. Google teamed up with Lexus to make the car. Lexus probably designed the car, and I think that Goggle did the building. They might have done a bit of each. The part that would be hard to program is the voice part. The person that is trying to build the voice automated part would have to use the software that Apple has used to make Siri, because Siri will do anything you tell his/her to do. That was one idea, but another cool idea would be a laptop where you can print stuff. So, the laptop would work like a normal laptop with a normal operating system, but when you print something, it would come out of the side of the laptop or something. That would be nice, because the person will not have to buy a printer, because that laptop would have one. Also, this type of laptop would be portable as well, but I would be guessing that this type of laptop would be pretty expensive. Those are 2 pretty awesome and cool ideas, and they were pretty easy to think of. Another great idea that I can think of is a hoverboard. I have seen hoverboard in TV shows and movies, but in real life would be really cool. It would be hard to make because you have to always be moving and stay in the air as well. I think a company named Swegway made this thing that everybody calls a hoverboard, but that does not make any sense at all. The reason it does not make any sense at all, is because if anybody looks at a picture of a Swegway,(The company named Swegway made a swegway)then that person would realize that a swegway has wheels. If something has wheels, then how can it be a hoverboard. Also, some of my friends actually spent $360 on a swegway and they do not hover in the air, but just go on its wheels, and it goes really slow, like at speeds of 2- 10 miles an hour. The 2 miles is slow, and that is the least. 10 is an okay speed, but still.

The days just keep on getting better and better! It keeps on getting more amazing and more amazing. So, today is the 2nd to last day, and it was really cool today. Today we had a task of finding the missing pieces of the robot and taking them back to another robot, and you have to just drop it on the same place the robot was standing. It was pretty difficult, and we had some of tomorrow to finish it, but I arleady finished. I finished right when we were about to leave for lunch. We were not going to come back after lunch, so our teachers said to get everything that you needed. I didn't come to the class with anything, so I did not come out of the class with anything. We got straight to lunch, but they called us to the last again. I couldn't eat anything except an apple and some apple juice, because they were making Pasta and meatballs. They had brought as many bags of peaunut butter and sandwhiches as many kids that signed up for vegetarian, but some kids took 2, and some even took 3! I was not that hungry then, so I didn't ell my teacher anything, but on the way back, I started to get hungry. Anyway, after luch, we all went on a bus to the Keneddy Space Center. I never knew this, but the Kennedy Space Center is in Merritt Island. It is an island, but my friend was arguing to me that it was a peninsula. A peninsula is a place which has been manmade. It is pretty cool to be on an island, but it is in Florida. Anyway, that argument ended by asking the teacher, and the teacher said that it was an island. At the Kennedy Space Center, we went inside a rocket simulation, but I had just done one yesterday at the ATX Centre, but they asked us if we wanted to go on it, and I liked yesterday's, so I would like this one. This one was way better and more realistic. There was even a code for it that the people at NASA made. We had also turned upside down. It was really crazy, but it was really cool. There, we had also seen Atlantis and a replica of the Hubble Telescope. Atlantis was actually a rocket that would go straight up in the air, but land like a plane, and it was also reusale. Atlantis had also been on 33 missions in 26 years. The space craft had been in space, and it was right in front of my eyes. It was cool to see it, and it was humongous as well. It would've taken a lot of programming and desighing to make that thing! The people that worked there, had said that they put cloth and some quartz mixed together and had put it on the space craft. I just can not beleive that it went on 33 misiions i space! 33 missions for just one rocket is a lot. Their were a lot of orange marks on it, and the people who worked there had said that it had been crashed by a meteoroid once, but the Atlantis was still working. The meteoroid hitting the rocket mission was actually its last mission, and that's pretty funny. That probably why they stopped using it. As I had said before, we saw a replica of the Hubble Telescope, which was launched into space and took amazing pictures. It took pictures of objects so far away, such as another galaxy. I do't know hoe you could even build and program anything like that.

The day was better than yesterday. So, the day was better than great, which means that it was an awesome day. Today's day at my summer camp was truly awesome and I liked it. Today was the best day I've had yet. Now, onto the amazing and awesome day. We had to do some tasks and it was pretty easy to do and I almost finished it in the speed of light. Just joking, but I did do it pretty fast. The task was to follow the black line, but there was a twisteroo. The person had to make it turn left instaed of making it go right. There was a black line both ways, and if you turned lef, then you would get to the finish line, and I did, so I won the challenge, plus I was the fastest. That twisteroo that was needed to solve was by using your light sensor, and making it go towards the black line. So, the first part of the code needed to be a light sensor, but you had to meausure the distance, to where you had to take the left turn. So, I put the distance and then the next box had to be a stop box. After that, you needed to make the left turn by putting the left turn box. Then, you had to put another stop button, and then you could put the light sensor again, and the robot will go the rest of it by itself. I was in one of the 2 groups that made it to the finish line. The other perrson in our team had fell asleep, and he was from California, and that's 3 hours behind, so he had a reason to sleep. Even I was sleepy at times, but I wasn't that sleepy to fall asleep. When we finished our tasks, we went to lunch. At lunch they had called us last, but they usually call us first. Since they had called us last, their was no more vegetarian food, so I only ate a bag of chips. I didn't take the cranberry juice, because it is very sour and I don't like sour food, or a sour drink. They had turned on a movie containing flies, Russia, USA, and space. The crazy thing that happened in that movie, that wasn't realistic at all was that the flies had came from the Soviet Union(The Soviet Union back then was Russia)to the United States in 6 hours. The bugs were flies. Even an airplane takes more than 6 hours to get from Russia to America, and airplanes go way faster than bugs. The movie was weird though. We didn't get to finish the movie, but I think that we will be able to see the whole movie, or the enf of the movie, at least by tomorrow. We have been watching that movie form day one at camp. After eating, the fun had started, and we did a rocket simulation and it was shaking a lot like a rocket, and I had gotten picked as commander. The commander basically tells everybody what to do and basically flies the rocket. We didn't exactly fly the rocket into space, but their were pictures about a rocket going into space and everything. It was really cool, and I basically got to be head of the rocket. After that, we went to a mountain, and our teachers said that astronauts have to rock climb to become one. I don't know how but I am not going to question her. Our teacher then let all of us climb. I did climb it and it was fun and then came back down. It wasn't that hard either. The rock climbing was pretty fun. The next thing we did was to go on a thing that lierally goes every single direction, upwards or downward or anything! I didn't do it.

Today was not a good day, but a great day. We all had started to go into our classrooms today, and then they gave us 1 task to do. The task our teacher told us to do was to make you robot go around the Nasa Logo, and then it had to turn backwards all by itself, without any human help. Then, we had to make the robot land land on the NASA logo. I had gotten it to do that all by myself. After that, we had gotten into groups, and the teacher picked the partners for us. Me and him worked on 5 tasks together. The tasks that we needed to do, had to be done with sensors on your robot. The first task was to make the robot go when you press a button. The second task was to make the robot go, when you release the button. Those 2 were pretty easy. Then, the next one was to make your robot go away from a red light. That was an easy one as well. The 4th task that we needed to acomplish, was that it would get atractted to a white light. That one was pretty hard but was really cool. My partner put the light on me , and it started climbing on me! The other robots couldn't do that, because they didn't use the grips, but the teacher said that you could use them if you want. In addition, our teacher took our robot and then took the light and pointed it at the ceiling and the robot started to climb the walls! Everybody started laughing after that. It was pretty funny and cool. The last task was to make a chart for all the tasks. It was a good day. We all went to lunch and they were serving Maccaroni and cheese, but I barely ate any. I had eaten a bag of chips, and drank some orange juice. The class had to go back to the classroom and everybody was working on the robots, except our group. Since we had finished all of our tasks, our teacher told us that we could play on the computers for 2 and a half hours. What we did for the last hour of the day was that we threw a ball to each other, but there was a jist. Their was 2 people in 2 seats, and the seats were constantly moving and the team with the highest number of points or catches would win. We tied another team with 19 catches in 6 balls. It was pretty cool and the other team almost could have won, but he dropeed a catch he should have dropped. The 3rd highest team had 10 catches and 9 more catches is pretty good. My class had to leave then, and anybody could get a snack and they do that for every single day. They also give you a water bottle when you are leaving. The snack with water today was a strawberry granola bar, but I ended up givng that to my sister. All in all it was best day I've had yet, even though it is only my 2nd day. One of my new friends there goes to after care, and he said that it was really fu. They let yu bring anything you want, and you can do anything you want. That friend is actually the guy that was my partner and he is pretty nice as well. When I got my snack, my dad was waiting for me at the start of the line and he was waiting for mr, and I think he had to wait pretty. The day was great, and it is getting even better. We are going to a rocket simulation tomorrow! It should be really fun, and I hope it is really fun. We also go on a field trip on Thursday, but you will find out soon enough.

Kennedy Space Center is pretty cool, and I know a lot of people who like astronomy, and I am one of them myself. the thing about astronomy that I like is everything is really interesting and you always want to know more about it. I had gone to a Summer camp which is managed by Kennedy Space Center. It is an hour away from my house, and I have to wake up at 6:30 A.M each day for 5 days. Today was the first day, and I got to make myself some friends. Once I reached the place, they all told us to sit down and go into your groups. I was in the robotics group and I liked it. Once we had gone over the rules outside our classrooms, we had gotten inside our classrooms. We had to then go over some other rules, that the teacher had made. Our teacher had said that we would go to the planetarium at 10:45, but when she said it, it was 10:45, and then everybody laughed. It was quite a funny scenario. In the planetarium we went inside a giant igloo, but it wasn't made of ice. The igloo had been made of bamboo! It seems crazy, but that is what our teacher said. Then, we saw a guy who basically owned the planetarium. We all went inside the giant igloo. The guy said that if we leaned on the igloo, then it would collapse us and we would all die. That was scary enough, and then one of my new friends had said that it should be called the "Giant Igloo of Death" and that made it even more scary. The guy showed us anything we had wanted to see in space, and then he asked if anyone wanted 30 million dollars! 30 million dollars seems like a lot and it is a lot. He said that Google was challenging people around the globe, to see if they could get on the moon and land a rover on the moon. That's not all though. The rover has to travel a distance of 500 meters. After he said that, he showed us a video of a team that was in Orlando, Florida. They got it to land on the moon, but they would have to pass the 500 meter challenge. It showed us the amount of meters, and it went 499 meters, and then just broke down. That is the most dramatic way you can lose. They only had one chance as well, and they could never enter the contest as well. That was really dramatic, and the guy asked us if we will be the 30 million dollar grand prize winner. One other thing the video mentioned was that their are only 2 countries in this world that have the right materials, and that would be America and India. You would obviously expect America, because they are advanced in any way what so ever, but of all the countries, you wouldn't think the same for India. Yes, India is great, but not many people care about it, and that is sad. India is one of the most successful countries, politically. India does have a great space agency, and it is like NASA. One of the most successful space agencies in this world is India. Their have been a bunch of astronauts from India, and some of them work for NASA. One Indian astronaut was Kalpana Chawla, and she is a very successful woman. Unfortuneatly, she had died in her forties. If Kalpana Chawla had worked for the Indian Space Agency, then India would have a bigger name and a lot of people would know the country. The only reason people know about India is because it is the 2nd most populated country in the world. India, itself is a great country with bunch of different artifacts from back in the old days!
